## What counts

It is in Wales and the public can play — pay-and-play, by booking, or through a club or community session open to new joiners. It has at least one bookable pickleball court, or one active verified session. A session counts only if it is recurring and has a day, a start time, an organiser and a price (or a stated 'free'). "Dedicated courts" counts only courts whose type is stated as dedicated. Where a source does not say, it is not counted. A club playing at two venues is one club; each venue is counted once. Pipeline — courts in planning, or venues considering pickleball — is never counted.

## Listed, not counted

| Venue | Council | Status | Why not counted |
|---|---|---|---|
| Swansea Tennis Centre | Swansea | single_source | Pay-and-play price of GBP 8 per session on the centre's pickleball page. Court count, session days and times, and whether the GBP 8 is per person or per court are all not stated, so it is not counted. Address and postcode not on the page; the council page was not fetched for them. |
| Radyr LTC | Cardiff | unverified | Club page confirms address and postcode, plus two booking routes: coaching courses, and private court play for members only. No court count, session times, levels or prices are published, so nothing is counted. Partner 'Tennis Squad' has no contact details. Next step: ask the club for court count and whether pickleball is available to non-members. |
| Aberaeron Pickleball Club | Ceredigion | single_source | Club's own page gives a recurring Friday session at the leisure centre and published phone and email. No price or fee basis is given, so the session cannot be counted under spec 2.3. Street address and postcode are not on the page. Ceredigion is inferred from the town. Course coaching is mentioned but not priced. Club describes itself as joinable by contacting the organiser. |
