Accessibility statement

All In Wales is committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as a minimum, targeting AAA where feasible.

Display preferences

You can customise how the site looks using the display settings panel, available via the sliders icon in the navigation bar. Options include:

  • Text size — Small, Default, Large, or Extra large
  • Contrast — Standard, High contrast, or Dark mode
  • Warm tint — a subtle warm filter to reduce eye strain
  • Reduce motion — disables animations and transitions

Your preferences are saved in your browser and applied on every visit.

Our commitment

  • All interactive elements are keyboard navigable and have visible focus indicators
  • Touch targets meet or exceed 44×44 px on all interactive elements
  • Colour contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards for all text and UI elements
  • The site respects the operating system prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-color-scheme settings
  • Mobile navigation includes a full keyboard focus trap and ESC to close
  • A skip-to-main-content link is provided for keyboard and screen reader users
  • Images include descriptive alt text where appropriate
  • Forms include proper labels, error messages, and ARIA attributes
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Semantic HTML is used throughout, with ARIA roles and labels where native HTML is insufficient

Known issues

We are an early-stage platform and some third-party embedded content may not meet full accessibility standards. We are actively working to improve these. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, please contact us.

Technical information

This website uses semantic HTML5, ARIA attributes where appropriate, and is built with accessibility best practices in Next.js. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance and have implemented the following technical measures: keyboard focus trapping in modals and mobile navigation, live region announcements for dynamic content, and CSS media query support for user motion and colour preferences.
