I was recently asked in a Pub is Chester in Wales? 

I can see that quite a few people have thought the same things according to the internet. So thought I would write a post to confirm the facts.

As much as we love our English Neighbours, Chester is not in Wales but it is in England. It is on the border to North Wales.
